Has anyone actually "walked off" a losing/bad day?

I just started doing this 3 weeks ago. If I have a losing day in gambling, I will literally strap on my ipod and jog 5-6 miles as "punishment".

I figured I could tone up and/or lose 10 pounds or so anyways and it sure beats hitting the bottle.

I feel better, clears my mind, and prevents me from making bad decisions on tilt. I've also dropped 2 pounds or so. I know it's sort of "crazy", but I just thought I'd share.

Anyways, 3 winning days in a row and I'm actually missing running.

good luck fuc...but if your doing running as "punishment" you may not stick with it ..you should look at it positive... as its opening your artieries and burning fat...

Just my opinion

good luck

I dont know if doing it for punishment is much good for you mentally, but pounding the pavement ( or someones face ) can be a great way to vent when youre angry or pissed off, and you have the added bonus of improving your physical health, at the very least.
